20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act

The following information is from the National ADA Symposium. July 26, 2010 marked the 20th anniversary of the passage of the ADA:



Become part of a nation-wide effort to collect 2,010 �Proclamations of Recommitment� to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in recognition of the 20th anniversary of the passage of the ADA. The goal of the 2010 by 2010 Campaign is to collect 2,010 �Proclamations of Recommitment� from state and local governments, schools and colleges, businesses, organizations, service providers, and advocates before the end of year. The current list of proclamation signees can be found of the 2010 by 2010 Campaign website: www.2010anniversary.org. The 2010 by 2010 Campaign has already received the support of mayors, governors, business leaders, and organizations from across the United States.
